shadow looked down at light "the church of the summoner" he nodded to the stone wolves that rung around the church.

(the summoner is one of the gods )

Cody walked behind Shadow in her tiger form. She had been silent most of the way there, occasionally asking him a question. She looked up at the church and admired it. She heard Light ask Shadow where they were and smiled. She still remained silent as she followed.

shadow nodded "i sort of almost died in their graveyard"
he felt his cheeks redden and he tried to cover up by turning his head away from light

Light's eyebrows went up slightly as he blushed.
Almost died....And do you mind telling me how that happened? Light asked curiosly.

shadow coughed fakely "uh er yeaaaaaaaahno" he said turning even redder

Light wiggled out of shadows arms that were carrying her and stood crossing her arms.
Tell me shadow..What is it?

shadow played with his necklace and looked away

Light sighed and took a step away from him.
Fine, you dont want to tell me you dont have to.... But I would have liked to know.. Light turned away and headed to the church withount another word.

"i was stabbed by a.....a lady friend of mine" he muttered as light walked off toward the church

Light stopped but didnt turn around. The grass begain to wither away.
Shadow if you wont tell me what happened staight forward I can always get inside your head and find out my self.

shadow's mouth went tight as he gave in "i was drugged once and was found by an er prostitute...i er.... don't remember much but uh lets just say i had known her before and er she was sort of angry and with the drug i couldn't stop her she stabbed me with an iron dagger and i swear i didn't do those kind of things light it was just er...." he continued to rant on

Light turned around to look at him. She grinned.
Shadow, I dont need your life story hon, you can take a breath.

shadow breathed and smiled back

"my life story is to long of a story to be told"
he sighed "she hated me cause i killed her younger brother since he was in the queen's agents that came to destroy OPAZ"

Light nodded and her smile faded.
Wouldnt you be pissed if someone kill a person you cared about?

shadow nodded "but i dont kill people over it" he pushed the images of his dead friend's faces and the innocent he shook his head and strode foreward and banged on the door "brothers? OPAZ at the door open up brothers" suddenly two droplets of liquid fell onto his cheek and he looked up his face paling.

Light looked at shadow then up.

another drop fell and landed on his forehead "son of a bitch " shadow yelled and jumped back as the body hit the ground, a monk who's hands were sawed off. shadow jumped at the door his leg forced through the wood then drawn out and kicked again, finally, the wood shattered enough for him to get through. As his gun appeared in his hand he forced his way through "brothers?".

Light closed her eyes and turned away from the body. Light followed shadow through the hole he had made.
Shadow...

shadow didn't answer as he ran down the hall pausing only to check for pulses. he was shaking with rage as every single body was warm but no blood pumped in their veins. he knew ahead there would be the great hall
"light go back to cody and wait outside" he shouted back his voice shaking

Light shook her head and touched his sholder.
Dont be stupid, I'm comming too.

shadow shook still but her touch seemed to ground him and he simply nodded and moved to remove the bar in front of the great halls doors

Cody was silent as she listened to Shadow and Light's conversation. She had to admit, it intrigued her slightly, not that she cared that Shadow had almost died. The story seemed... slightly familiar... somehow. She brushed it off when Shadow yelled and the body of one of the monks fell to the ground. She growled at the body, both shocked and angry. It took her a moment to notice that Shadow had kicked a hole into the door and he and Light were already inside. Cody hopped through the hole and found the two just as Shadow told Light to go back outside.

Cody rolled her bright green eyes and then looked around at the bodies of all the monks lying on the ground. She stayed close to Light, still feeling particularly drawn to and protective of her. She waited patiently as Shadow started to remove the bar.
