Emmelyn listened to both Hanuke and Radiah. A smile crossed her face as she listened. Though the sorrow and sympathy were there, her eyes hid them.
It's okay. she said to Radiah. I'm not normally this talkative, so I know what you mean. It's hard for everyone. Very true too, though. I don't know anyone that's ever mentioned fallen angels, let alone seen them."
She looked at Hanuke after, wondering exactly the same thing as Radiah. What was he going to say?

Hanuke listened. He saw them both look. "I wasn't really gunna say anything..." He looked at Emmelyn. There was something about her... Hanuke snapped out of his gaze. He growled at himself mentally. Then he wondered things... he never did... before.

Radiah paused for a moment.She stared off into space,as she began to day dream about other things.
Short......

Emmelyn looked at Hanuke, still smiling. She suppressed a giggle when he snapped out of the gaze and his expression changed, clearly displaying his annoyance. It wasn't with her, was it? No, why would it be? She played with a blade of grass a little, twisting it between her index finger and thumb, but her gaze reverted back to Hanuke. She liked him and he intrigued her. She smiled at Radiah, even though the fallen angel probably wouldn't notice; she seemed to be off in her own world.
Emmelyn! a boy's voice called out. She looked across the field to see one of her "friends" approaching her. What the hell are you doing here with these... these freaks? She stared at him a moment, rolled her eyes and then looked away, ignoring him. I asked you a question, Emm.
They're my friends, thank you very much. was all she said in reply.
Your friends? Emmelyn, you don't belong with them. What the hell are you thinking? You're not like them! Granted, you're not like us, either. You're your own class. You don't belong anywhere. You're lucky we accept you. Now, come on.
Forget it. The boy, Josh, grabbed Emmelyn's arm, pulling her up so she was standing.
I said come with me, b****. Emmelyn winced at the dangerous tone. Josh was a big guy... and a big bully. He had always been a source of fear for her and she hated being in the position she was in. She didn't look back at her friends, not wanting them to see how helpless she really was.

As Hanuke saw Emmelyn struggle with a male. He was big. But not as tall at 9'11. Hanuke stood on his hind legs. He snarled. He heard him call Emmelyn the "b word." Hanuke made a load roar! He held one of his fore arms to his chest, then swung it at the boy. The boy, Josh, fell to the ground with a loud thud. "That's not even easy! If y'all want easy, I'll give it to ya!" Hanuke snarled and glanced at Emmelyn.

Hanuke roared at Josh. Hanuke got close in his face and snarled."Either get up and depend yourself... or run!!"

Emmelyn backed away from Josh once he was on the ground. She stood close to Hanuke, feeling protected near him. As tall as he was, he didn't intimidate her in the least. Maybe it was just because she already trusted him some. Either get up and defend yourself... or run!! Josh had winced slightly at Hanuke's ferocious growling, but he showed no sign of fear now.
Who are you to talk to anyone like that! You b******!! Damn you to hell! You think she is a b****... You...grrr. Radiah in serpent form was quite a sight to behold. Emmelyn would hate to be in Josh's position at that moment. Josh, however, still did not seem to be afraid. He simply glared at Radiah and rolled his eyes.
Radiah... As much as she didn't like Josh, she really didn't want Radiah to hurt him. Of course, that could just be because she didn't want Radiah to get into trouble for it. Radiah, just forget it. He's not worth your time.
Pfft. And you are?

Hanuke growled again. He stared into Josh's eyes. His eyes burned with anger. "WE'RE THE FREAKS?!?!" Hanuke looked at Emmelyn. "I can hurt him... this place does have fighting arenas. It wouldn't hurt to have a fight outdside the fighting arena!" Hanuke nodded at Radiah, as if to say, "we'll both get him."

Hanuke saw Josh roll his eyes. Hanuke snorted. Hanuke grabbed Josh's neck and tugged him from Radiah's grip. "Are you prepared?... Cause you're about to get beaten by us freaks!" Hanuke threw him to the ground and swiped his claws across Josh's face.

Selene wnadered through the academy park aimlessly, just getting used to her new surroundings, really. The amount of humans in the school annoyed her some. Sure, some were okay, but most seemed to see themselves as superior to other races, and that really got on her nerves. A couple humans were hanging out under a tree. They all glared at her, probably because of her pointed elf ears and black horse tail. She didn't think anything of it and just walked past them. She wasn't going to let them get to her; that would be pointless.

A human boy from another group walked over to three students sitting together. She could hear what the boy was saying and it angered her. She could sweat she felt her blood boiling as she watched the scene play out. She shook her head, trying to calm herself a little before approaching the group. Calming herself slightly, she stalked over to the group just as Hanuke swiped Josh's face. She stood above the human, who was now back on the ground.


"Who do you think you are?!?" she yelled, furious. "You humans always think you're better than the rest of us! But you're not so strong on your own, are you?!" An ear piercing screech filled the air, though it affected Selene in no way. She looked up to see Luna, her falcon, swoop down and dive bomb Josh. She said nothing as Luna soared upward and then dive bombed again.

Josh stood up, blood dripping from the fresh scratch marks across his face. He glared at her and then the other three. Luna swooped down and landed on Selene's shoulder.

Radiah... She heard Emmelyn say in a concerned voice.Radiah, just forget it. He's not worth your time.But Radiah was to enraged at the thought that she had been called FREAK,she had been called worse but...Radiah then felt a tugging on her body.It was Hanuke,gently but forefully pulling my grip away from him." WE'RE THE FREAKS?!?! " "I can hurt him... this place does have fighting arenas. It wouldn't hurt to have a fight outdside the fighting arena!"Radiah noticed as Hanuke's eyes met with Emme's and then they caught Hanukes as if he were saying silently."we'll both get him"She smirked and nodded to Hanuke as she turned back to the group.She backed away and transformed back into her angel form.But then another person,not a human,maybe a humal walked over to Radiah,Hanuke,Emmelyn and Josh."Who do you think you are?!?"The girl seemed PO. "You humans always think you're better than the rest of us! But you're not so strong on your own, are you?!"Then suddenly a falcon came from no where and started to dive bomb him.

A male human,a big guy 6'5, 280 pds mostly muscles.Came storming out of the place.He was the star football player and biggest A-hole."What you doing to my bud?"

Emmelyn looked at the elf girl who had joined the commotion. The girl was probably humal as well, given the horse tail. The girl started yelling at Josh as well, and then a falcon was suddenly dive bombing him. Emmelyn's guess was the falcon belonged to the girl, as it landed on her shoulder.
"What you doing to my bud?" Emmelyn looked to see another human guy walk over. Oh great. Not him. Josh and this human were really close and he was the worst out of all of her 'friends.' She recoiled back slightly, not wanting him to see her. Josh's confidence seemed to boost at the arrival of a friend, not that it had faltered much anyway. She saw the look in his eyes. He was convinced he was perfectly safe now. He clearly saw her slightly recoil, for he suddenly had grabbed her and pulled her close.
I was just telling Emmelyn, here, how she shouldn't be hanging out with these freaks and they attacked me. he explained. Emmelyn pushed away from Josh, fury and fear battling with one another. The second male smirked at Emmelyn. "What's wrong, Emme? You need to boost your self worth? You need to stop hanging around those better than you?"
No. I prefer hanging out with those equal to me rather than those inferior. she snapped quickly. Josh grabbed her once again, this time throwing her to the ground.
Watch your mouth, Emm. You don't want to get hurt. Tears spilled out of Emmelyn's eyes as she glared at him. Pain was suddenly shooting up her wrist. She didn't move; she was in too much pain and her tears were obstructing her vision anyway.

Hanuke heard Josh say, "Watch your mouth, Emm. You don't want to get hurt." Then pushed her. She was crying. Hanuke turned to Josh snarling, he roared furiously! "Watch your mouth!!!! You don't want to get hurt!!!" Hanuke held one paw in the air. He clawed at Josh's face until blood poured at Hanuke's feet. Hanuke pushed Josh down and growled. Josh looked up at his friend. Josh's friend, Kevin, marched over and struck at Hanuke's shoulder. Hanuke stood tall on his hind legs, towering over him. Hanuke grabbed Josh's neck and held him up. His face torn and scared. "You want your face to look like THIS?!?!" Hanuke clawed on Kevin's arm, he growled deeply, furiously.

Hanuke dropped Josh to the ground. He looked over at Radiah, and the new elf humal. He smirked at them. "I've done my part," Hanuke looked at the two male humans. "Are you prepared for more?!" Hanuke took a nice long pause. "If not... TOO BAD!!!!" Hanuke kicked Josh over to Radiah's feet. And grabbed Kevin's arm. Hanuke threw Kevin over to the elf humal.

Hanuke let Radiah and the new girl with the falcon take care of them. Haunke walked to Emmelyn. Blood dripping from his claws. He stood on his fours now. "Are you ok?" Hanuke asked while sitting next to her and rubbing her hand with nose, until her hand was on his head. One part of Hanuke was a dog... one part was a monster... and Hanuke started to like it.

Selene glared at Kevin a moment as he was thrown toward her. She didn't have much time to react before Radiah shifted into a wolf and charged at him. She didn't say anything as the wolf gnawed on the human jerk. She turned her attention to Josh.

The other human had clearly seen Radiah's lack of attention as his opportunity to escape. He was already standing and running across the park. Where do you think you're going!? she yelled. Shifting into horse form, she gallopped toward him.

She overtook him quickly and shifted back into elf form. The small elf shoved him backwards, causing him to stumble. Doesn't feel so good to be on the recieving end of the torment, does it? She shifted back into a horse and reared, whinnying and snorting furiously. Her hoof came down on his chest, pushing him down to the ground. Josh fell back, winded. Selene stood where she was, breathing heavily out of anger.

The usually peaceful and timid elf was now furious and ready to trample anyone that got in her way. She was seeing red as she glared at Josh, who was on the ground, winded.

Emmelyn watched as Hanuke clawed at Josh's face some more. She had to admit, it was nice to see him all bloodied like that. But she couldn't help but worry they would get into trouble for fighting outside of the arena. He kicked Josh over to Radiah and threw Kevin toward the small elf humal that had just arrived. He then was by her side on all fours. Are you okay?
She allowed her hand to slide up on his head, as much as it hurt. I think so. she replied softly. She watched Radiah go after Kevin and then the elf ran after Josh who was trying to get away. Just like him... she mumbled under her breath. She cringed slightly as the elf humal kicked him back in horse form.
This had just gone from bad to worse. A crowd of onlookers had gathered to watch the fight. There didn't seem to be anything that could make this situation any worse than it already was.
What's going on, here? Except that. Emmelyn looked to see Rani walk over. Oh god, not her. The 5'6" girl was the preppiest, prissiest, LG Emme had ever met... and the cheerleader was also Josh's girlfriend.
Emmelyn! Call them off before I do something drastic!
Stay out of this Rani! Emmelyn hissed in return. She was just PO'd now and really didn't want to deal with Rani as well.
What did you say?!? Rani leaned down and lifted Emmelyn off the ground so she was standing. I don't like that tone, Emmelyn. And I really don't think you want to upset me right now. Emmelyn, not in the mood for any of this, just rolled her eyes and glared. You asked for it. She pushed Emmelyn back to the ground before slowly starting to shift.
A loud roar filled the air as Rani shifted into a powerful lioness. Emmelyn's eyes widened and Josh suddenly looked around. Neither had ever known Rani was a humal or shifter. Bewildered, Emmelyn didn't see the paw swipe at her and the massive claws caught on her arm. So much going on... it was too much for Emm. She shifted into fox form and darted under Hanuke, crouching and growling.
Rani... you're one of them? Emmelyn turned and directed her growl at Josh. She had had enough of him, Kevin, and everyone else. The way he had said 'them' ignited a fire inside her and the anger slowly started to build. She turned back to Rani.
What's wrong with you? You treat us like crap even though you're like us? You disgust me. She moved forward, furious. Rani took another swipe at her, but she dodged this one. She leaped onto the lion's back and grabbed hold of her ear, her front paw still aching. The lion roared and tried to shake the vixen off. Emmelyn looked up at Hanuke. The fury was apparent in her eyes and her expression clearly stated she wanted him to join in this fight. She had finally had it.

Hanuke closed his eyes as Emmelyn spoke. He opened them and watched the humans get hurt. Then he heard people around... and another human coming over. Hanuke stood on his hind legs. Almost 10 feet tall. Emmelyn scrambled under him. Then the girl shifted!!! Into a lioness. And clawed Emmelyn. Emmlyn jumped and ganwed on Rani's ear. Hanuke growled. "Hurry! Get off Emm!"

Hanuke grabbed the skin on the lioness's back, his claws sinking into her skin. He heard Rani roar in pain. Hanuke grabbed her forelegs and hit her to the ground. He grabbed both of her legs with one paw and held up the other. Threatening to claw her face... and he did. Several times. Her face was blooy too. As was Josh's. But Hanuke didn't know about Kevin yet.

The lioness clawed Hanuke's arms. Hanuke let go of her arms and jumped above her. His hind paws landing on her arms. Her shoulder blades rubbed together. Hanuke bent over and clawed her face once more.he grabbed her ears and yanked on them. He laughed and leaped off of her. He looked at the other humans. "If it's war you want... ti's war you'll get!!!"

Most humans in the school thought shifters and humals were cool... but some... some of them were just racist!!

Many humans,whom were the onlookers and even a few teachers who were also humals and shifters cheered Hanuke,Emmelyn,Radiah,and Selene on.Many cheerleaders even got into cheering positions and rooted on Rani while the football team yelled."Go Kevin!Go Josh!" as they began to throw random things into the battlings humals,shifters,and humans.Such as garbage cans,books and even certain weapons.Some boo'd some cheer'd.

Radiah still furiously knawned on his face,scraping her claws on his chest and tearing the hell out of his lower 'body' with her back legs.Blood began to splurt out of the side of his head as she felt a crack.Kevin then flung his arms as he jumped up and began to strangle her.But Radiah shifted into a cat and slid out of the grip and then shifted into a snake like dragon.

She flexed her claws forward and ripped into Kevin again.Blood squirted everywhere as Kevin backed down in fear.He looked mishapen and such.The fury had taken over her.Something that had been hidden for such a long time had been released.She watched as Rani dove and attacked Hanuke,and Emmelyn.She let out a hiss and grabbed Rani,squeezing her tightly.She noticed her friends Hanuke and Emme furiously clashing with the others as Selene battled Josh.This was all out war now and she wouldn't be suprised if someone was killed.."SCREW THIS!!" Radiah growled as she lept into battle.

The rage just continued to grow inside Selene as she stared at the human boy in front of her. He stared at Rani in amazement, clearly surprised. Rani... you're one of them? Now the rage was at its full extent. She knew humans were sometimes cruel. All races could be cruel. But the sheer disgust in his voice was too much to bear. If he had loved Rani before, he wouldn't have sounded so repulsed at finding out that she wasn't, in fact, human.

Another furious whinny sounded and her hoof came crashing down on Josh's hand. The teen boy started shouting every swearword in the book. F***!!!! You b****! That's my throwing hand!!! Josh wasn't the star, but he was still on the team, and his big ego probably had him thinking he was the star. He stood up and tried to stare the horse down, but the anger now had full control.

Oh, that's your throwing hand, is it? Well, BOO HOO!!! And that's not even the worst of it! Josh jumped up onto Selene's back and wrapped his arms around her neck, trying to strangle her she guessed. Is that all you've got? That's nothing!! Seeing her opportunity, she galloped full speed toward the largest tree she could see nearby. At only about a foot away from it, she came to a complete halt, ducking her head. Josh flew over her head and his body slammed into the tree at extremely high speed.

Selene stood over his body, seeing the pain he was trying to hide. Her tail flicked, displaying her anger and annoyance. That... that was nothing. Come on, give me your best shot... Selene glared at him, and then dipped her head so it was an inch away from his face.

You really want to get hurt, don't you? She grabbed his shirt in between her teeth and pulled him up. His stance was firm, but he was clearly in pain. Snorting and whinnying once more, she turned her back on him and kicked him right where it counted. Now his pain was no longer hidden. He lay on the ground in a ball, swearing all over again.

Cheap shot! Have some courage, you ****ing w****!! You want courage?!? I'll show you courage!!! She reared and was no longer aware of where she was stomping. Her eyes were crazed and all she could see was red. She walked away after a good couple minutes and looked at the rest of the fights going on. She snorted and was ready to charge into battle.

That was when she looked over her shoulder back at Josh. The football playing jerk was now a bloodied, unmoving heap on the ground. She stared at him in amazement for a moment before shifting back into her usual, 5'1" elf form. Oh god... she whispered. She backed away from Josh, from the battle, and tried to run, tears starting to fall. She was stopped by the now angry group of humans. She wasn't going anywhere until this was over. Had she stayed in her horse form, she would have been able to pass by without a problem. But she was smaller and vulnerable now and the humans had no problem keeping her in this fight.

Tears poured down her cheeks as she looked at the fights. If she got involved, she would more than likely seriously hurt or kill someone else. And she had no control when she was as angry as she had been... she might very well hurt someone accidentally. Everything slid in and out of focus as she sobbed. She just had to get into this fight... she just had to get herself angry... she just had to... kill... How could you? How could you just end his life like that? she yelled at herself mentally. She covered her ears and dropped to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably.

Hurry! Get off Emm! Emmelyn let go of Rani and leaped off her just as Hanuke's claws dug into the female shifter's back. She watched the battles going on around her. Hanuke with Rani, Radiah with Kevin, and the elf girl with Josh.
If it's war you want... ti's war you'll get! Hanuke's words ignited a new fire in Emmelyn and she leaped back onto the now bleeding Rani's back. She dug into the lioness' ear with her teeth, and scratched at the new wounds with her claws. She may be a fox, but she could still inflict damage. She held on with all her might, glad to finally be getting back at these humans for all the crap they had put her and other races through.
She looked up when she heard someone crying. The elf girl was on her knees, sobbing furiously. Emmelyn looked to see Josh lying by a tree, bloodied and still.
She jumped off Rani once again and started towards the girl. Rani took a swipe at Emmelyn, but missed and Emm just ignored her. She walked past the elf girl and over to Josh for a moment. He wasn't breathing. She trotted over to the half elf and shifted back into human form. She put her arm over the girl's shoulder comfortingly, ignoring the pain of the movement. She wasn't sure if she should say anything to the girl. What could one say to someone who just killed someone else?
Hey. Take it easy. Listen, I didn't see what happened, but you don't seem like you would do something like that on purpose. I might be wrong, but only you know that. If it was uncontrollable, then don't blame yourself. Things like this happen and it's not all your fault, kay? She looked up as some of the gathered crowd started throwing objects specifically at where the two girls were sitting.
Emmelyn glared at all of them. The rage still burning in her was clear in her eyes and most stopped throwing things at them. She looked around at everyone fighting once more. She didn't know how far this would go before someone finally stepped in. It might possibly take until all of one group or the other were dead. She didn't know. All she knew was that she was intent on comforting Selene. She stayed beside her as she watched the war rage on.

Sapphira,a usually simple humal girl,the wallflower always minding her own business but snoops when needed to.Since the move to the academy,she has been almost invisible to everyone and everything around her.Sapphira spends her time mostly reading books or talking to some students for notes.But today,she decided to take what she thought would be another peaceful day in the academy's park.Most of the trees were in bloom,and there were plenty of places to read but this day was different.The park was silent until the young humal found herself,discover a whole crowd of people and humals.Mostly were crying espically the cheerleaders.Curiousity sturck me as I walked over to them and peaked into the viewing.A gentle gaze was on my face but it disappeared when a saw a bloody body in the grass.I recognized him as Josh,a big a**hole of the school.Grabbing my cell phone,I quickly called 9-1-1.

Immediatley the paramedicts were there.Police cars came rushing towards the battling humals.Police came out and grabbed there own guns and pointed it at the Humals and Humans.

Radiah was in a fury,her eyes blood shot red and mouth covered with Kevin's blood.Smirking she cuffed her fists and shot a last evil glare at the dead corspe before setting it afire.The howling took over her,she then shifted to wolf form and grabbed Josh's body and threw it in with Kevin.This was like a sick murderous way of roasting marshmellows.Josh and Kevin were the wood while she was the camper enjoying the marshmellow.But today was anything but happy.So,bit by bit Radiah's sanity was chipped away as she strolled over to where Emm and Selene were.Gazing back to the group of crying people.She turned back to normal,eyes restored to a beautiful blue as the relization of what she had done and what was happening hit her hard.She shifted to angel form and fell to the ground,and screamed.Screamed so loud her lungs almost burst,so loud her ear drums almost burst.Tears came streaming down her cheeks.

Cops came rushing from everywhere,guns pointed and shouting."Get on the ground!""Put your hands behind your back!"People were throwing objects at us.Calling us rejects,swearing to kill us,maybe even murder.Some said go commit suicide while sick other cheered.
Radiah had been struck so hard she fell to the ground,blood receeding from her mouth.Someone had thrown a knife into her back as it felt like it was chizzling away at her life.Faint she blacked out.

Selene listened to Emmelyn's words, but didn't really hear them. She still shook as she sobbed and was trying to grasp how she had murdered. The only thing that actually got through to her was 'all your fault' That's right. It's all your fault. You killed him! More tears streamed down her face as she continued to wonder how she could have done it...

Radiah's ear piercing scream got through as well and Selene looked up. The half elf watched her sadly and then looked over to the glowing object in her peripheral vision. She noticed the two bodies on fire. So, both males were dead now. She looked away from the fire, even more tears falling.

"Get on the ground! Put your hands behind your back!" She listened to all the noises of the crowd. It was all so overwhelming. So much noise... too much noise... Police, the police were here. She looked to see all the guns aimed at her and everyone else involved in the fight. She stood up and started to back away slowly, fearful of the artillery. The humans that had killed her father had used guns. "Are you deaf? On the ground!" She shook her head, eyes wide, as she continued backing away. One of the officers approached her and forced her to the ground, gun against her back.

She looked up to see the knife in Radiah's back, blood flowing freely from the wound. Please! Don't let her die! She's hurt! Help her, please! She winced as a second knife landed on the ground beside her, narrowly missing her head.

Hanuke saw the police arrive. She stood still on his fours. Then ran to Radiah when a knife got thrown to her back. Hanuke growled. "That can kill a life ya know!! How'd you like it?!" Hanuke snarled again. "I haven't killed anyone, but that can change!" Hanuke roared to the humans! Hanuke put his nose under Radiah and squirmed about to put her on his back. He walked to the cops, a few police took his back. And Hanuke turned away. He trotted over to the elf girl and Emmelyn. "Let's just get outta here... one of us must stay behind and explain to the cops about everything," Hanuke sighed, "But a few of us are injured... we might all have to stay and explain..." Hanuke looked around. He trotted over to the cops. He looked at the top cop, the chief. "They were a threat to us! And this is a school where you can fight... and sometimes kill.. it's ok. If you come to this school, it's almost like risking your life if you wanna fight," Hanuke turned around and trotted back to look at the chaos that's been created... who's fault was all this? Hanuke was curious. And wanted to know.

Emmelyn looked up as the police started arriving. She looked around, irritated that someone had called the police and that they were so misunderstanding. She let her arm slide off Selene's shoulder as the half elf started backing away. She looked over when she heard another cop give the order a second time. Selene was being forced to the ground, pure terror in her eyes. Hey! Leave her alone! The gun against the girl's back angered Emmelyn and it was everything she could do to stay where she was to avoid getting anyone hurt.
At Selene and Hanuke's exclamations, she turned her attention to Radiah. She stood up, furious and walked over to where Hanuke was standing. She nodded at what Hanuke said about explaining and then also looked at the chief. He speaks the truth, officer. There are not many rules about fighting and killing here. She watched Hanuke trot over to Radiah and slide under her. She turned to say something else to the cop, but didn't get a chance to. She and the others were suddenly somewhere else. She didn't recognize where she was, nor did she know what had happened.
