The Calido Family

Coa you can help me write this story. It is the one about Jock and his sister who adopted him and their butler who gets in a tragic accident. I'll start from when Jock was getting adopted.

It was a sunny afternoon and 3 year old Jock was playing with the other kids in the adoption center. He looked around. He had been here so long. He had been to several homes, but every one just dumped him back at the adoption center. "I'm going to live her forever." he said to a lion cub that was about his age. "How do you know?" replied the lion cub "Because no one wants me." said Jock. Then they continued to play. "I have to tell you something Jock. I'm getting adopted today. My new family is picking me up." said the lion. "But you're my best friend, if you leave who will I play with?" said Jock as he started to shed a tear. Then he heard foot steps. It was the lion cubs new family. "Bye Jock." said the lion. "Bye." said Jock. Jock watched his friend walk out the door of the adoption center. "bye" he whispered again.

Angela finally arrived at the adoption center far from her mansion. Angela sat in the limo waiting for her butler, Mr. Tibbs the wolf standing on hind legs, to open the door. Mr. Tibbs walked to the door and opened it for Angela. "There ya go Miss Angela." Angela nodded at Mr. Tibbs. "Why thank you Mr. Tibbs. I can't wait to adopt a cub today!" Angela walked towards the Adoption Center. She smiled as she saw toddler cubs looking out the windows. Mr. Tibbs opened the doors for Angela. Angela smiled as she heard the little kids shout "Look a limo!" Angela saw a sad lion cub. But then she saw a family pick him up and take him outside to take him home. Angela looked around for a little boy toddler. She saw a sad tiger cub sitting on the floor.. he wasn't staring at the limo like the rest of the kids. Angela walked up to him. Her paw pads softly padding on the wood floor. She looked at Mr. Tibbs. Mr. Tibbs could tell by the look on her face that she wanted to adopt him. "We'll have the tiger cub right there." Mr. Tibbs said to the lady in charge as he pointed.

Angela petted the cub. "Hello there. I'm Angela Calido... do you want to come home with me and my butler Mr. Tibbs?" Angela asked with beauty and kindness ringing in her voice. She looked at Mr. Tibbs.. he opened the door to leave. "His name is Jock... I talked to the manager.. he can come home now." Angela picked up the cub and hugged him gently.

Mr. Tibbs opened the door for Angela and Jock. They hopped in the limo and drove off slowly. It was 4:30 pm... they would get home at 6:40 pm. She waited for Jock to ask about his new home.

"She wants to take me home?" he said to himself. He looked up at the lady standing above him. She was skinny and tall. She looked nice and very pretty. By the way she looked at him, he could tell that she would be great and he knew that this time, he wouldn't get sent back. Then she picked him up and took him to the limo. He was speechless. He had never been in a limo before. He didn't even know what a limo was until today. "Why is this car so big?" he asked. "And why do we have to drive so long?" He looked at the lady who said her name was Angela. He saw that she loved him, even though she had never even gotten to know him. He liked her. Also Mr. Tibbs seemed nice too. "I think I'm going to like it here." he said to himself. Although he did still miss his lion friend.

Angela smiled. "I have a lot of money... so I have a big car and a big house... but we'll get to the house soon." They weren't even close to the house yet.. Angela sighed will happiness. Finally she could have a little brother.

"Why do you have so much money?" asked Jock. He was so confused. "Before you answer that, what is money?" He didn't have a clue. He had never had a chance to really be outside int he world. He hadn't left the Adoption Center for 2 years. Jock sighed.

Angela giggled as he asked a sillt question. "It's hard to explain..." Angela took a long pause. "If you're tired... you can rest on my legs."

Jock looked at her with sleepy eyes. "I guess I an a little sleepy." he said as he lied down. He slowly closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep. When he woke up he was at the mansion. He looked at it with wide eyes. It was the biggest house he had ever seen. Being that he had only seen a total of about 10 houses.

Angela smirked as he lied down and fell asleep. Angela wasn't sleepy. She looked out the window and enjoyed the scenery. She saw a large field with tall green grass. Cows grazed, birds nuzzled up in their nests. They passed a park, forest, swimming pool, elementary school, dog pound, and a crop field. She enjoyed thinking of the future.. of her plans to take Jock swimming in the backyard or downstairs pool room.

They slowly pulled in the driveway. Angela picked up Jock and took him inside. "Alright.. tomorrow you'll get a tour.. Now are you hungry?" She looked at Jock as they ebtered the house. "We have 5 stories. Main floor, basement, pool room, upstairs, and the second main floor." Mr. Tibbs explained.

They all entered the kitchen as Angela held Jock's hand. She knew toddlers grew strong bonds quickly. "Are you hungry?" Angela bent done slightly to look at him face to face.

"yes i'm hungry." said Jock as he woke up. He yawned "What kind of food do you have?" he asked. He noticed that Angela liked Jock. He was excited to live at his new house with his new family. "Is there anyone else who lives here?" he asked. He had so many questions, but what could you expect from a 3 year old.

"What do you want? We have pizza, soup, cereal.. or anything we can put together." Angela looked at Mr. Tibbs, then back at Jock. "No.. it's just us three now." Mr. Tibbs said. Angela stood up tall. "My parents just live an hour away.. I'm your big sister, not your mom. I'm too young to be a mom. So just call me Angela, not mommy." Angela giggled, she didn't know how else to tell him not to call her "mom."

"Ok," said Jock "can I call you Angie or sissy?" he asked. He thought about what he wanted to eat. All he ever really had was soup from the center. "I'll try some of that pizza you were talking about. It sound funny, so it must be yummy!" he said. He was excited to try a new food. "I do not want soup." he said firmly.

Angela smiled. Mr. Tibbs knew Angela very well, and knew she didn't like to be called "Angie." "Better not call her Angie." Mr. Tibbs laughed and went to cook some pizza. Angela laughed too. "He's gonna make some pizza for you." Angela patted him on the head. "You can call me sissy."

"ok sissy." he said. He could smell the pizza. It smelt so good that tears streamed down Jocks face. He loved it. "Is it ready?" he asked. He had gained a new love, Pizza. "Just wait til you taste it." said Mr. Tibbs. Jock suddenly got very very hungry. "Is it ready yet?" he asked again. He was getting restless. While he waited for the pizza to be ready Jock made up a song about pizza to the tune of row row row your boat. "cook cook cook it up, cook me pi i zza. It is the best, better than all the rest, pizza is me favorite." he sang. The song was pretty well written for a 3 year old. he sang it over and over until the pizza was done.

Angela smiled as he sang.. though the pizza had to cook for a while... about 15 minutes.. she got somewhat annoyed. But she still loved the place. She walked up to Mr. Tibbs. "I think we'll get a tutor for him... and he can stay up late. I think I want to take him swimming." Mr. Tibbs nodded to Angela. Angela turned to Jock...


Mr. Tibbs brought Jock's food. Angela went upstairs to grab her swimming suit. She grabbed Mr. Tibbs', too. Angela had some clothes bought for Jock before she picked him up from the Adoption Center. She grabbed some Tiger Toddler Trunks from a baby store. She walked back down to see how much Jock ate.

Jock eats his pizza. His eyes wide and his tail up. "I love pizza" he said. He heard his sissy whisper, but he couldn't hear what she said. "What did you say?" asked Jock "Was it about me?" Jock looked at her. "I don't like people talking about me without me knowing." he all of the sudden got mad, but after he ate a bite of his pizza he was all better. "Sorry I have an anger problem sometimes."

Angela's face was very puzzled and she was pretty weirded out.. usually tigers are mellow and calm... She looked at Mr. Tibbs. Then they walked out of the room. "We'll be right back." They stood in the hallway talking. "He's a 3 year old! He shouldn't care if people are whispering..." They stood in silence as Mr. Tibbs shrugged.

Jock continued to eat his pizza. That was his 5th piece! "I"m full." said Jock as he looked at his full tummy. He then noticed that Angela and Mr. Tibbs left the room. "Where did you guys go?" asked Jock. "are you playing hide- n- go- seak? Ready or not here i come!" he shouted. he began to look for them. "You guys are good hiderers."

Angela heard Jock shouting and babbling about hide-n-go-seek. Her eyes widened. "Can you go get his dishes, please. And get your wife?" Angela spun around as Mr. Tibbs followed her instructions. She came to a direct halt as she saw Jock. "Hi sweetie! Wanna go swimming." She grinned and grabbed his hand gently. Maybe swimming will tire him out... and Mrs. Tibbs can tutor him in the morning. Angela thought.

Angela started walking towards the stairs. She walked down two set of stairs with Jock traveling behind. She saw Mrs. Tibbs down in the pool room heating the pool. The pool room was somewhat steamy... there was a big warm pool, a cold lap pool, and 2 hot tubs. Angela let go of Jock's hand.. she talked to Mrs. Tibbs about plans in the morning. Angela walked back to Jock. "So.. you wanna get in your swimming suit?" Angela asked and looked in his eyes. "So.. can you get dressed by yourself?"

"I think i can." replied Jock. Jock walked into the bathroom to change. After a while Angela hears a BOOM CRASH SHATTER. Jock opened the door. "I'm ok!" he shouted. "Um, someone might want to clean up the bathroom a little bit. Jock looked back into the bathroom. There was water all over, shampoo bottles spilled, and soap all over Jock. "I might need some help next time." replied Jock.

Angela gasped as she entered the bathroom. "Um.. yeah.. er, Mrs. Tibbs?" Mrs. Tibbs nodded at Angela. Angela picked up Jock. She set down Jock in the middle of the Pool room. She smiled. "Go ahead and swim, while I go get my swimming suit on. Mr. Tibbs is watching.. so..." Angela slipped in the bathroom and got dressed as Mrs. Tibbs cleaned and Jock swam. Angela came out and walked towards the cold pool. Most cats would love the cold pool. It cooled them off and it felt good.

Jock slowly stepped into the water. He had never been swimming before. Soon he was all the way into the water to where he could touch. He started to wade, then he discovered that if he kicked his legs and moved his arms, he could go faster. "I like swimming!" said Jock. Jock had been trying so many new things today. He tried pizza, swimming, and also being with someone who loved him and would never take him back to the center. When Angela came out Jock shouted, "Look what i can do!" and then he showed her how he swam back a forth from one side of the pool to the other. For being the fist time Jock had ever gone swimming, Jock had learned very quickly and very well.

Angela smiled at Jock. "Yes you are!"

Jock smiled. He swam and swam and swam until her almost fell asleep in the pool. "I'm sleepy." he said as he walked up to Angela. "Can I take a nap?" he asked. He had heavy eyes.

Angela picked him up and grinned. She walked towards the bathroom. She handed Jock to Mrs. Tibbs. Mrs. Tibbs held him gently and took him inside the bathroom.

Mrs. Tibbs dressed him in some soft, cozy pajamas. They had lion, tigers, and bears on them. And also a saying that said, "OH MY!" Angela nodded at Mrs. Tibbs. Then She headed for the door. Mrs. Tibbs turned off the light and went to clean before sleeping.

Angela walked up her stairs. She looked at Jock in her arms. "You wanna sleep in your room... or mine?" Angela walked into his room. It had toys, but he looked too sleepy to play. Angela set him on his bed. He folded her arms and looked at him. "If anything happens come into my room, here, I'll show you which one it is,"

Angela grabbed Jock's paw and took him to her door. It was a teal door with a golden handle. "This is my room. If you need me, or need something, just come in and tell me," Angela smiled and took him back in him own room.

Angela set him on the bed and lifted the covers over him. She petted his head and turned on a night-light. The night-light was a soft ornage glow. It was in the shape of a seahorse. The room was mostly fish. And under water life.

Angela walked into her room and snuggled into her own bed. Her room was teal, blue, and purple. It had some cool colors.
