how to role play (rp)

OOC:
role plays are easy once you get the hang of it role playing is playing as if you were your character.

YOUR CHARACTER MUST BE ACCEPTED TO BE ABLE TO JOIN OR CREATE AN RP

to start one you have to male a topic title to draw people in

also please keep swears to a minimum

in rping you must work with the other players so if one person shoots something your
character(s) can react to it like

player 1: johnny shot at the black cat that had stumbled into the alley way

player 2: lisa jumped as johnny shot at the cat and the drawback sound filled the alley
"what the- johnny wait its just a cat"

player 1: johnny looked at lisa as she spoke and the cat yowled and ran off
"sorry" he replied "i just i just was surprised thats all"

and a big no is god moding. god moding is when you kill or play the other persons character like if one person is trying to run away from yours unless they give you permission you cant keep them there.

many people dont like it and get confused if you say stuff like you'll be leaving after this postis up and then start role playing so we use
OOC which means out of character
and
IC which means in character

also lots of people want your to put weather and what the location looks like and more details

me and kelly will now rp with our characters to show as an example cause the rp above was not proper to show how to really rp

shadow sat at the edge of the tower the cold rain filled air blowing in around him his ears twitched as he took in the surrounding area the patchwork farm houses and the small people down below running for cover as the rain rolled from shadows higher point toward them.he stood, his hand lay on a gargoyles head to keep him balanced as he leaned forward over the edge of the towers rim. his jacket flapped toward the inner part of the tower where he had left a door slightly ajar.

Jennyfer walked into the building. Then she walked out. The people were yelling at her. She climbed up a tree. Water was slowly coming out of her eyes. She saw Shadow and wondered why that he wasnt going for cover too. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING OVER THERE?" she yelled...

shadow blinked though his now drenched hair and looked down as the sound of jennyfer's voice reached his ears he looked down and smiled "enjoying a good storm you?"

"I'm just looking at the veiw" Jen didn't want to say what had really happened. She didn't want to say people were scared of her of nothing she did. "I'm not from here... So I don't know what it looks like" That part wasn't a lie but she knew that he knew that people hated her because he saw her getting kicked out of the shelter...

Light danced in the rain laughing like a cazy person. People stared but she didnt care. With a splash she fell into a puddle a big smile on her face.

OH, how I hate the rain!!! She yelled out through breaths of laughter.
