How-? When-? What??

Emmelyn stood up, a bit dizzy. What had happened? One minute they had been talking to the police, the next they were somewhere different. She looked around. A grassy field... a fence a little ways away. Turning around she saw the small white building and larger red building. A farm. She looked around some more, curious as to how they had arrived there.

With the adrenaline from the fight wearing off, the pain slowly returned to her wrist and arm. She looked and noticed the wound Rani had inflicted upon her was still bleeding. Her wrist throbbed and a head rush ensued. She sat down in the field, holding her head with her good hand. Ugh. Jeez, that was some day. And now she was on some farm with no recollection of how she got there... or even leaving the academy.

Instincts took over and she shifted into a fox, growling at no one. Her sense of smell was better in her fox form and she could smell the animals in the barn. So someone was for sure living there. She should have guessed; the farm was really well kept. She looked around for her friends, hoping seeing one of them would calm her some. Hello? Are you guys here? Hanuke? Radiah?

Selene had no idea what had just happened. All she knew was she was practically having a heart attack because of the gun against her back. Now suddenly she was lying in the middle of a grassy field. She sat up and looked around, confused beyond belief. She was on a farm; that much she knew. Had the others come with her? A shadow swept across her and she looked up to see Luna soaring down. The falcon landed on her shoulder. Hey she whispered.

Hearing a soft growling, she looked to see a fox. Was it someone that had come with them? Either way, she would try and calm the poor thing down. Hello? Are you guys here? Hanuke? Radiah? So it was Emmelyn, the girl that had comforted her after she had... no. Mustn't think about that. She stood and walked over to the fox, kneeling down before her.

Hey. I'm here. Are you okay? She noticed the blood staining the fox's already red-tinted fur. (she's a red fox, yes?) You're bleeding! Let me help you! She placed her leather bag on the ground and fished around in it for the bandages she always kept. Finding them, she reached out to tend to Emmelyn's wound.

Stunned and almost motionless,Radiah lay on the ground.No longer on the soft fur of Hanuke,but on stringy grass that was..well,grassy with a soft touch.It looked much like saw grass,but it was a wheat field.As she stood,Radiah relized that the field looked like it could go on forever.A gentle breeze swept over the plains,making the grass look like a giant ocean.Swinging her arms back in forth,this reminded her of home.Back with her.....Radiah couldn't think of it.After her grandmother had taken her away at age 4,from her mother.A flashback occured,she rememebered as she stood on a bleek street,a foggy bridge,a black porcia looking car.Her grandmother giving her a hard cold stare.
"Come..."Rasped the old women.But my mother held onto Radiah,gripping her arms until it hurt,tears streaming from her eyes
"No.".As the mother grabbed her daughter tight,a dark man in a trench coat walked over.A pistol in hand,it gleamed with moonlight.He held it up to her head,pulling the trigger.Blood squirted everywhere,onto Radiah's face.Her mother fell over into a puddle of blood,chunks of her brain flew and her head hollowed.The man grabbed her and threw her in the car with her elderly grandmother.She petted her slowly like a lost puppy.
"Shhhhh...."
This terrified Radiah,but she shook it away.Immediatley after,relization struck her that the knife was no longer in her back.Not a clue where she was or who she would meet up with.She turned to face the west,no one,the north,no one,the east,no one,but int the south.She spotted the girl Selene's hawk,shifting to her horse form.She galloped over to the them.

Hanuke opened his eyes. He saw green grass. He flung himself up. He looked around him. He was alone... right? "What the?!" He snarled. He was at the Ayashi Academy last he knew. He stood on his hind legs... looking about. Where was everyone. He heard soft murmurs... but where? He noticed he was on a hill. He walked towards the edge. He saw Emmelyn, Radiah, and the elf girl. He opened his mouth, his expression was wide eyed, gaped mouth. He leaped onto his fours and ran to them. He stopped near Emmelyn. His hand-like paws tightened into fists. He turned sharply, away from Emmelyn, who was wounded. He roared, his expression was like a demon dog. "Where are we?!?!?!" He roared. He looked around, he saw a barn. "Maybe someone's here... hang on," He ran on his fours to the barn.

He opened to doors slowly, no one was in there... no thing was in there... There was hay and a few old blankets. He saw no farmer... no animals. He looked back at Emmelyn and Radiah, and the elf girl. "We can come in here!" He said loudly. He walked on his hind legs. A little ways towards them. He looked at Emmelyn, he stood on all fours, by Emmelyn's side. He nuzzled her slightly. "There's no one in the barn... we can go there," He said. He looked at all the girls. "C'mon ladies," He stayed on his fours and trotted towards the empty barn.

She growled at the girl kneeling in front of her, but then realized it was Selene, the elf girl. She calmed down and shifted back into human form to give Selene better access to the wound on her arm. Radiah and Hanuke soon came over as well and she was glad to see everyone had made it over. Radiah seemed to be doing better, though Emmelyn was worried about the wound in her back. She smiled as Hanuke nuzzled her. If there was no one in the barn, then something was up. She was sure she had smelt animals. Oh well. She could figure it out later. Radiah, how's your back? She looked after Haunke and started following him, still looking back at Radiah and Selene, wondering if they would follow.

Hanuke snorted as Radiah rolled her eyes. "Lets venture around before we decice what to do." Hanuke rolled his eyes. He looked at her. "Do what you want Radiah... I don't care," He said. His voice was calm, yet slightly hard. He turned away. "What's over there?" He said as he looked beyond the barn. He saw a tall metal thing, carrying water? Maybe? He looked back at Radiah, then Emmelyn. "Who ever wants to go to the barn, then go... anyone else want to do anything else, then do it,"

(Could there be something like...Night of the Living Dead thing..except none of our characters die...?)

Radiah was already half-way to the house when she heard Emmelyn who now had shifted back into her normal self mumble something to Hanuke and Selene and turn to her.Radiah, how's your back?.Turning to see that Emmelyn had already turned to follow Hanuke.She sighed to herself."It's been better..."Said Radiah lowly.Yet as she was going to continue Hanuke replied back to her earlier statement.
"Do what you want Radiah... I don't care,"He said softly but with a hint of sharpness.Shifting to a golden snake with purplish blue eyes,she slithered away into the grass.Until she heard not to far away.
"What's over there?"Flicking her eyes back to the directions of the others.She noticed a large metal thing carrying water.What the...Hanuke looked back over to them.Radiah stood tall,opening her hood."Who ever wants to go to the barn, then go... anyone else want to do anything else, then do it,"
Well I certainly don't..Radiah hissed underneath her breath,before going over to the pourch of the house.Abandoned..Some of the windows had been smashed in.Maybe someone had broken in?But there was blood splattered on the pourch and window.A brick was found with bullets and more blood.How strange...Radiah looked to the door and saw it was locked.Then she ventured into the backyard.On the side of the house probably 20 feet from it was a patch of trees and more fields.A red dirt road was in the distance.But finally she made her way past the mishapen shed,and through a crack in the wood and into the home.She now was in the kitchen.Radiah shifted to a pretty tabby she-cat with golden fur and purple eyes.Sniffing around she padded into the living room and saw the stairs.The house looked very well put.It was a very nice two story ranchstyle home.Looking up for a moment something was dripping.Narrowing her eyes,Radiah felt something drip onto her nose.

Selene finished up bandaging Emmelyn's wound and smiled shyly as Hanuke approached. She listened to what everyone had to say, keeping silent herself. Selene followed Radiah to the house, curious as to what was around or in there. The broken windows, blood, and bullets caught her attention and she wondered how long they had been there. Noticing the door was locked, she shifted into her horse form. She kicked down the door and walked into the old abandoned house. She walked into the kitchen to see Radiah in tabby form. She noticed the red drop onto her nose and looked up. Blood? ... What had happened here...?
