Steps in making:

First click File and open:

Look around and find the pic that you want and chose it: Light's Tutorial 2:Gimp(for Shadow) Gimphelp

Then go back and chose a file you would like to be on top of it.You MUST Open as Layer!Once you do that your ready to begin.First off make sure you are clicked on the layer you wish to blend onto your pic. Light's Tutorial 2:Gimp(for Shadow) Gimphelp2

Go up and click Color scroll dow and click Color to Alpha

A window will pop up and you must chose what color you do not want in my case it will be white. Once chosen click ok. The color should be gone and you are now able to see the other layer in the background. Now side this layer to fit in where you want it to be.
